The INFP

[Adrift - Maggie Taylor]

"We want to be known by our potential, because to us, that’s what life is. What separates the world of reality from the fantastic lives that we live in our minds, and the worlds of possibility and beauty that we swim in? Nothing but physical action. That action is the smallest, most insignificant portion of ourselves. Action is only one small thing in a great, wide world.

We dream things happening, we feel them happening to others—both real and imaginary—we see them happening with both exterior and interior eyes. Why should the physical action be most important? Who says that plane of physical action and perception should be exalted above all the others? Sometimes we forget—or choose not—to live our lives outside of ourselves. Should we be judged, then, for only what you can see with your small set of physical eyes?"
